What we do with Samsung systems

  • Select the equipment from the building’s heat-loss and cooling-load calculation, not from the catalogue.
  • Design the schematics, controls and BMS interfaces together with the other building systems.
  • Supply the equipment and supervise the installation.
  • Commission, balance and document the system, then support it after handover.

Where it fits

Residential complexes and villas, hotels and hospitality, offices and commercial buildings. Where another technology serves the building better, we say so: the system comes first, the manufacturer second.

Heat pumps

EHS air-to-water heat pumps

One outdoor unit heats and, in suitable configurations, cools the building and prepares domestic hot water, with the hydronic side left to the building: radiators, underfloor heating or fan coils.

  • Outdoor units in Mono, Split and TDM Plus (R410A) versions.
  • Wall-mounted hydro units, or hydro units with an integrated domestic hot water tank.
  • Wall, duct and console indoor units for the TDM Plus range.
  • Control through the SmartThings app; can be connected to a Smart Grid or solar panels.

How we size it

The set is chosen from the heat-loss calculation of the building, the required supply temperature and the hot water demand. We check the emitters, the pipework and the controls before an order is placed.

Current campaign sets: hot water up to 65 °C, heating operation down to −25 °C outdoor air, 10-year warranty on the Digital Inverter compressor (campaign terms).

VRF / DVM systems

Zoned comfort for hotels, offices and retail: one refrigerant network, many indoor units, each room controlled separately.

  • Heat pump and heat recovery configurations, compared against chillers and fan coils for the actual building.
  • Cassette, ducted, wall and floor-standing indoor units, chosen for noise and ceiling space.
  • Central control and BMS integration, with the points list agreed at design stage.
